Corymbia calophylla, commonly known as the Marri Tree, is a magnificent Western Australian native evergreen tree, admired for its impressive size, attractive foliage and spectacular displays of creamy-white to pink flowers.
Naturally occurring throughout the southwest of Western Australia, the Marri is a hardy, long-lived tree that provides excellent shade, habitat and food for native wildlife.
During summer and autumn, large clusters of fluffy flowers appear, attracting bees, birds and other beneficial pollinators. These are followed by distinctive, large, woody seed capsules commonly known as honky nuts.
